Success Stories

We have an excellent track record of registering many successfully completed projects since our founding in 1994. In the following, we have compiled for you some of our “success stories” which can be graded as representative.

SUCCESSFUL BS2000 MIGRATION AT ITZBUND

The project was commissioned by the Informationstechnikzentrum Bund (ITZBund) which is Germany’s major IT service provider of the Federal Government. The migration project involved a hardware and operating system modification from BS2000 to SUSE Linux. The project included conversion of the COBOL programs to Java and the complex mask and file migration; finally, the project transited into its productive phase on 12 September 2016.

SUCCESSFUL INTERFACE MODERNISATION AT MAN TRUCK & BUS SE

Automatic migration of simple, text-based screen masks into modern, user-friendly GUI displays was the primary task of the project which was successfully implemented in collaboration with MAN Truck & Bus SE during the period from July to December 2013. In this context, our MaTriX migration tool was used which essentially carried out the modernisation of the screen masks automatically that were no longer up-to-date. This significantly reduced the project costs and duration compared to a manual change over.

SUCCESSFUL BS2000 MIGRATION AT AMADEUS GERMANY GMBH

On 30 April 2008, the last BS2000 system was switched off at Amadeus Germany, which is Germany’s leading provider of IT solutions for the travel industry. This was preceded by a migration project unique in its complexity. Among other things, thousands of SPL programs and SDF procedures with several millions of lines of code (LOC) were automatically converted to C++ or Perl on UNIX. The high-performance file handling system on BS2000 was migrated to relational Oracle databases through tool-supported approach, where our tools and technologies were deployed successfully.
